Destiny Blood changed to Destiny Sadness as a result of the severe depression she had from the bullying and abuse that had left her with so many scars and the mysterious magic that seemed to affect her emotions.
When she turns into this side, her colors fade (necklace included), her mane flattens, and her cutie mark changes.
