I have this idea that Cadence is actually half changeling and her changeling birth name is Katydid, shes still an alicorn but shes more attune to love as its both her special talent and literally in her blood, she doesn't really know her heritage but it makes her more powerful to be surrounded by love. I also did a minor redesign for her as I headcannon that alicorns have 2 wing sets and horn sets. I changed her hair style and added a bit more of blue into her palette too. She has mostly pegasus traits as that was what her pony mother was. Her changeling mother had both a small horn and wings, I have a different headcannon shes technically Chrysalis' half sisiter but thats going WAY too much into it.
