Applejack and Luna had a short lived marriage only having one daughter they named her Gala Luster. Gala was once a happy filly even after her mothers broke up and both moved on from each other. But as she grew older she became angry and resentful towards Luna and Celestia for stepping down and giving the throne to Twilight. She feels as the only daughter of either Celestia or Luna that she’s the one who should rule Equestria and was robbed of her rightful title. At just 16 she ran away and has never returned to either of her mothers. Vowing she’d take control no matter how she did it. Luna frequently worries about her daughter knowing exactly what happens when one loses their heart to darkness and their own selfishness. Luckily Twilight has given guards instructions to watch out for her just in case she follows through on her promise.
