1. Cheryl Quartz Chimichanga Pie (better known as Cherry Chimichanga, Cherry, or C.C., whichever, she doesn't mind) is the older of the Pie twins, and she's going to make sure you don't ever forget! There is no mistaking whatsoever whose daughter Cherry is, and she is a very proud Pie. While her twin Confetti Cake is a little more subdued than her sister, Cherry emulates the wacky, funny, crazy, big-hearted ponies her parents are through and through. However, despite her eclectic range of talents, Cherry cannot sing to save her life. Despite lessons from parents and friends, Cherry remains almost entirely tone deaf. Attempts at high notes have even been known to make a manticore cry. Cherry doesn't really care, though. While she knows she can't sing, she can heckin' shred a keyboard to pieces (and has been featured in more than one RazorWingz show) and loves playing the trombone with her mama Pinkie.



2-4. Cherry's passions, however, lie more solidly in the kitchen. From a very young age, Pinkie, of course, had her party girls cooking and baking with her. Excited to share her passions (and ensure her girls had a good understanding of kitchen safety), Pinkie Pie spent many hours of joking, and singing, and teaching. Cherry developed a love of food quite early. Able to eat a meal meant for two large stallions and still have room for dessert, this lady loves eating, snacking, tasting, and all the fun that comes from chowing down on a good dish. However, the pure art of creating a meal fascinates Cherry. While her sister delved more into the baking world, Cherry Chimichanga fell in love with all types of food — breakfast, lunch, dinner, local, foreign, savory, spicy, mild, you name it. Just like her parents, she may seem a bit off her rocker at first, but Cherry is incredibly smart. She is able to pick apart even the tiniest of ingredients and loves challenging her palette.

Because of this, her mother's good friend Saffron Masala has been a very formative figure in Cherry's life. Now running a Tasty Treat branch in not only Canterlot, but her home country of New Delneigh as well, Saffron is a well-known mare in the food world and her talents are amazing. Cherry loves their hours-long sessions together, picking up all kinds of tips and tricks from the chef (and being official taste-tester has its own perks as well!)



5-7. However, despite her adoration of cooking, Cherry also inherited her parents' adoration of parties! Together, Pinkie and Cheese manage CheesePie Party Emporium. Sugarcube Corner still acts as their storefront (and favorite hangout of much of the gang), and the other half of the building takes up the newly-refurbished kitchen and party supplies (when it became clear Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake were pursuing different interests, the Cakes gifted Sugarcube Corner to the Pies amid retirement, and still are quite close as neighbors). As such, the twins grew up mostly in the shop and have been helping out since they were quite small. So, Cherry has gained quite a lot of knowledge about the intricacies of parties. It makes her heart soar when her famous chili and "you look amazing with that new cast, cheer up!" parties put a smile on somecreature's face. She works closely with her parents and fellow party ponies — Party Favor and his son Birthday Bash. While B.B. is a little shyer than his female counterparts, Cherry highly admires his knack for picking out the perfect present for most anycreature. Also thanks to mother Roseluck, B.B. has a good eye for design, and is often recruited by Cherry for her own celebration escapades. Together, they throw some pretty amazing shindigs (especially when Connie and best friend Chrysanthemum join in) that make her parents weep with pride. Though Cherry isn't quite sure yet if she will one day run The Emporium and continue to throw awesome parties, manage her own restaurant, or both!! She just takes it day by day, ensuring each one is filled with smiles, fun, and good food!
