An upstanding young earth pony, Ferdinand is the absolute mark of nobility. He takes great pride in his house and upbringing, often doing his best to demonstrate how the upperclass should behave. At times he can come across as arrogant to others who do not share the same birth circumstances as he does. He makes sure that his thoughts on present matters are known, whether or not he agrees with the current strategy. Despite this, Ferdinand's loud and cheerful personality does well to put a smile on most faces. He seems to have a habit of loudly calling out his own name in battle. The golden horseshoe that adorns his flank is a testament to his effort of always going down the right and noble path with his actions.
