Meet Thunderbird! He's Greywind's twin. They were never told which was the older twin due to the competitive genes that run in the Dash family, but Thunderbird is the big bro by a few minutes.
Like his sis, he's got some splotches on his body. His are on his back, Greywind's are on her wings. He also has the falcon wing pattern. He's a pretty feminine looking guy, but he doesn't mind being mistaken as female.
He's the oldest of all of Dash and Dumbbell's biological children (since Toni isn't Dash's biological daughter), but he and Grey take the "middle child" place in the family.
Thunder also happens to be the only Dash kid who genuinely loves flying as a career. He got an instant spot in the academy and climbed up the ranks faster than Dash herself.
Most pegasi have an alignment with a weather element. Rainbow Dash has two- rainbows and sonic booms (both of which are incredibly rare), Greywind's is wind, Toni's is lightning, and Thunderbird's is thunder. Who woulda guessed
He's a lil bit of a show-off and can honestly be pretty obnoxious at times. Because he's so good at different flying patterns, he becomes quickly impatient with the new recruits since they're slow learners, also because he's so used to the fast paced of the advanced fliers. Spitfire thought this would make him a good teacher, since his impatience would inspire fast learning, buuuut Thunderbird wants nothing to do with the inexperienced kids.
He's got his own custom uniform, but isn't quite yet on the official Wonderbolts team.
Fun Facts
- Thunder has a tongue piercing, which he got very impulsively without either of his parents knowing.
- Despite the best racers being notorious for being the biggest trouble-makers, Thunder actually has a pretty clean record. He's really cautious when flying, especially because he's one of the skinnier members of the team.
- He's on the "Beta" team, which is right below the official Wonderbolts.
- He doesn't quite have the monochrome gene like Greywind does, but he definitely inherited the dull colors from Dumbbell.
