This is (hopefully) the final edit of my R63 edit of Andromailus' Royal Guard Cavalier:
https://www.deviantart.com/andromailus/art/e-3-Royal-Guard-Cavalier-815293019

I really liked the original image's concept of a full load-out format for Royal Guard armor. I posted it for the Nth time in the Royal Guard Mare Thread on /mlp/, but an "everything must be a mare" troll that's been haunting the last few threads said it wasn't a mare. Normally I don't acknowledge that idiotic purist troll, but on a whim, I decided to take the challenge of reshaping this particular image into a mare, with as little redrawing as possible in order to preserve the sketchy feel of the original image. Since it was a rather simple side-view image with a blank, transparent background, I figured that it would be relatively easy to gender-bend. I probably spent way too much time (about two hours) mesh manipulating the head, neck and chest to a more mare-like shape, but I think I'm finally mostly satisfied with the result.

This is an alternate version in which I've re-expanded the front the helmet crest, which I had originally shrunken down in the process of making the head more round like a mare. This alteration was requested by one of the Anons in the Royal Guard Mare Thread. I also shrunk down the ears slightly, because I wanted to do this. These additional edits took me about an additional 30 minutes to do.

I then did a few additional edits to this image after receiving some more feedback on the image, particularly reshaping the muzzle to be mare-like. I also redraw the eyelashes several times until I got something I could be satisfied with that seems to match Andromailus' style for mare eyelashes, as well as rounding out the eye a little more. I used the Marker brush in FireAlpaca for the eyelashes, which is the closest brush to the sketchy style of lines in the original image. I also fixed some disconnected lines and other image artifacts in the chest area, along with tweaking the shape of the star badge so that it looks more like the original.
