1. If there's one thing about Splendor, she loves being a girl. Much like Mama Rarity, she is very fashion-forward and loves following the most up-to-date tends from all parts of Equestria (though that's fairly easy to do thanks to her adopted mother's passion and talents). Her closet is so big, three stallions the size of Iron Forge could easily fit in there. As one can guess, she has quite a penchant for shopping. Malls, farmer's markets, village bazaars, you name it, she's there. Dora always has her indigo eyes open for a gorgeous accessory, perfect for a certain dress, when she visits the marketplace in Ponyville, or the most beautiful scarf in the Yakyakistan Bazaar. But shopping with friends is always the best, and Dora is known to suggest quick trip down to the mall for a celebration, to cheer somecreature up, basically any excuse really. Oftentimes, her two best friends, Vanity and Bo, join along to ensure that a certain dress fits proper andtellherifshelookslikeabloatedsausage
2-3. "There, Miss Ocellus. Just some highlights, a dash of glitter — not much needed at all."
While Dora does love her dresses and jewelry and the occasional tiara, when it comes to her passion in cosmetology, the unicorn recognizes that sometimes, it only takes a swipe of a brush, a small highlight on a cheek, a slight bit of mascara to highlight those beautiful lashes. When it comes to makeup, Dora truly does shine. Her passion ever since she was a little filly, she sees faces as canvases, ready to be transformed into even more a work of art than she reassures they already are. And she means it. Though a wealthy Canterlot citizen (who is model-beautiful to boot), Splendor was raised by her very grounded father, and Rarity was, of course, a wonderful teacher in the world of generosity. Splendor has a big heart, and uses her makeup to only enhance features, and always points out unique and interesting features she finds pretty, like a certain scar on a shoulder, a curl in a mane, a swirling pattern in a coat. Her birth mother, Glittering Facet, truly planted the seed, however, when she gifted Dora a set of makeup brushes, one that growups have. She only has one left, but she treasures it and uses it whenever she needs a little reminder about how important her work can be.
4. Although they aren't related directly by blood, Splendor and Rarity get along as any of the other Elements' and their children. They absolutely and utterly adore each other, and see each other as simply mother and daughter. Sharing many similar passions, these two can go on for hours and hours about fashion, makeup, handsome stallions, and life in and of itself. Splendor know that Rarity is somepony she can always go to, and although the beginning of their relationship was a tad rocky, it gets ever stronger as Splendor gets older and becomes a mare. Rarity, of course, couldn't be any prouder of her girl.
