quick Damon doodle at 2am that I ended up lining and coloring. While we're here, some fun facts about this spaghetti guy

- Damon's name is short for Damiano, which is what he's referred to by travelers (usually royal ones). Sometimes Celestia will use his full name when he's in trouble

- He's much more "regal" and presentable than his half-sister Khaleesi, who has a sloppy composure and practically no spacial awareness.

- His eyes are surrounded by dark fur to help absorb sunlight. His yellow eyes are very sensitive and he does much better at night, which seems a little odd since his mom's the sun queen and all

- He's very, very tall, and his snake-like body grows to be nearly double his father's. He's "long"

- His magic isn't that impressive, which is actually considered a draconequus norm. Discord is unusually powerful for an otherwise peaceful species.

- Damon doesn't have wings, so he just floats

- He is extremely emotionally attached to his best friend Cassie, and even a small argument between the two of them will destroy him.

- Since his magic isn't too powerful, he adopts Discord's dimension as his own. Draconequus usually make their own dimensions (which they're very territorial over), but something about Celestia's pony genes weakened Damon's abilities, despite her being an alicorn. Khaleesi has her own dimension which she formed 3 days after birth, and Damon spends time with his sis there too.

- The most "chaotic" of his features is his left front leg. It's made up of an entire galaxy, but when you touch it it'll just feel like normal fur. Staring at it for too long will leave ponies dizzy.

- He's sometimes, usually behind his back, nicknamed the "puppy prince" because he's very unlike any prince Equestria has seen in millions of moons. He's calm, generous, genuinely sweet, humble, and even innocent. Equestria's used to the stone-cold uncaring princes and dukes like Blueblood. Even though it's behind his back, he takes the title as a compliment.


Damon's mane and crest were separated before, but my good buddy elainesketch drew them connected one time and I immediately fell in love lol, so his mane's just gonna be part of his crest now. Please check out her drawing of him here ;-;
