A somewhat rough image to get back into practice after various health problems kept me away from drawing for far too long, this time taking some inspiration from the new "Pony Life" and my favorite bit from the series when Pinkie hints at a tragic past. Was it dark? Yes. But honestly, I kind of love the implications of Pinkie's digression… especially the idea that Equestria has its very own Baba Yaga, merged with the witch from Hansel and Gretel. Could there be a more perfect villain for Pinkie Pie?


My thoughts on the new show in general are fairly neutral. I'm not offended by it in the least, and occasionally there's a gag that gets a chuckle out of me. It's rather frenetic and disposable, so I doubt that it'll be a big inspiration for me, but credit where it is due for this gag.
