Since Smolder fills the role Jade was created to (young dragoness who has to get used to living around ponies, provides Spike with a dragon perspective on things and secretly likes cute pony stuff and dresses) and Jade would no longer have any reason to be stuck in Equestria (due to Spike's connection with Ember), there is no point in relocating Jade to Ponyville.
But that doesn't mean she's gone! Her story simply takes place in the Dragon Lands now and she's as spunky as ever.
Her doll's name is Citrine.
