The other week, I was playing my Pokemon Black game when I saw a commercial for MLP. I then thought what the Mane 6's respective Pokemon teams would be like. So I spent some time thinking it through. Here is what I came up with.
Twilight's are mostly ghost typed. Not sure why. Rainbow's are flying for obvious reasons. AJ's are grass type since she works on the farm. Fluttershy's are normal since they usually look like animals. Pinkie's are water because of her bubbly personality. And Rarity's are psychic for one and beauty for the other. I also made sure each had their pets on their respective teams in a way. (NOT. Easy…)

Twilight's Team: Gengar, Mismagius, Dusknoir, Spiritomb, Chandelure and Noctowl (Owlowiscious).
Rainbow's Team: Ninjask, Staraptor, Yanmega, Skarmory, Braviary and Blastiose (Tank).
AJ's Team: Torterra, Shiftry, Victreebel, Ferrothorn, Cacturne and Arcanine (Winona).
Fluttershy's Team: Tauros, Ursaring, Delcatty, Sawsbuck, Persian and Lopunny (Angel).
Pinkie's Team: Ludicolo, Mantine, Octillery, Dewgong, Luminion and Krookodile (Gummy).
Rarity's Team: (Two different ones. Couldn't decide on which.) Alakazam, Claydol, Bronzong, Chimecho, Gothitelle and Espeon (Opalescence).
OR
Ninetales, Meganium, Cinccino, Milotic, Vespiquen and Espeon.
As a side note, the pokemon are all in their shiny forms. Don't ask why. I don't know…
