Still, Rule 63 version of Twilight Sparkle looks pretty cute. :XD:
Ever since I had decided to draw a female version of Robot DeFault from Robot and Monster [link] [link], I had also thought about maybe I should draw her with Dusk Shine, seeing as not only were Fiona and Cake from Adventure Time the reasons why I decided to draw some genderbent fanart of :iconrobot-and-monster:. I guess I'm starting to really warm up to Rule 63 stuff, and I do enjoy drawing it for one of my favorite shows RnM. :D
Out of all the colts Rule 63'd after the Mane 6, Dusk Shine kind of struck me as 'odd' in design. I mean, his entire manly physique is perfect, as it resembles any colt or stallion on MLP FIM…I'm mainly distracted by the mane. :eyepopping:
Kind of funny that every time I look at Dusk Shine and his layered mane, I immediately think the original artist was implying that Twilight Sparkle would be 'dark-skinned' in human sense, though no relation to Zecora, of course. :D I mean, besides the hair reminding me of that old cartoon show that used to air on Kids!WB known as Static Shock :iconstaticshockclub:, I also think of Bob Marley…:iconbobmarleyplz: :XD:
I spoke with :iconaeon-borealis: about such and we both agree that maybe Dusk Shine could have been given a different mane design. But that's our opinions, of course. ;
Twilight Sparkle may be my favorite mare…but Dusk Shine really isn't my favorite colt. ; Honestly, I think I like Rainbow Blitz (Rainbow Dash) more; call me weird, but he appears the 'hottest' out of the Mane 6. :iconrainbowblitzplz: :lol:
