I'm so excited for G5! I know a LOT of people aren't happy with the character design, the CGI, the animation, the plot- its wild.
But I'm in love! Sunny is my favorite so far- which follows suit. Twilight is my favorite from G4, and she was also considered the main protagonist.

I like that she's an earth pony too! Maybe there'll be an influx of earth pony OC's after the movie comes out. I know none of my main characters are earth ponies, but I do enjoy "earth pony color palletes" like rich browns and earth tones.

As to the three other characters we've seen, I love them too! I really think people need to lighten up on the new generation. Moving into it with a bright and optimistic mindset instead of just being mad its not G4 should be more commonplace.

(also sorry ive been so absent! I'm apart of a BIG project that I've been working on this past month. Once it comes out, I'll reveal what it is!)
