Today’s prompt: Draw a pony working for peanuts / Draw a pony working a crummy job.

This one was a bit, as Bingo Heeler once put it, ‘trifficult’, as none of my OCs have jobs that they dislike. However, even if you have a job that feels perfect for you, there’s always going to be hard and tiring days that wear down on your patience. Cookie and Syntax both go through that at their jobs, with customers who, in Cookie’s case, undervalue the antiques she has for sale and try to bully her into bargains, or, in Syntax’s case, show little regard for the books he and his assistant Paige keep at their bookstore. Either of the two friends wishes the other didn’t have to go through all that, but knowing that they both understand what it’s like to have bad days at jobs they otherwise love is a comforting thought, and they’re both there to support each other. =)
