Today’s prompt: Draw a pony finding the light at the end of the tunnel / Draw a pony finding a glimmer of hope.

This one’s a direct sequel to the previous day’s entry, as Blaze’s cousin Maggie happens to catch sight of him and Pecan having their talk together. Before Blaze moved to Ponyville, Maggie had been Pecan’s closest friend, and was also the one to help her feel more comfortable being chubby, something she herself has had to deal with, being quite a bit fatter than her. She also saw Blaze falling head over hooves when he first caught sight of Pecan, and she decided that it’d be a good idea for the two to get to know each other. Seeing how close the two have become has made her feel hopeful for their future, while also wondering if she’ll find her own special somepony in the future.
