Twilight's enduring successes only prompt Celestia to accelerate her education further until Twilight's efforts fall short.

Upon Twilight's first failure Celestia forbids Twilight any form of distraction, ripping away her stuffed toy Smarty Pants, and finally forbidding Twilight from visiting her parents."
