What strikes me the most about lust is how pervasive it can be. Like a jolt of static electricity, it can strike you out of nowhere for the most ridiculous reasons, and whether you understand why it happened or not, you've got to deal with it one way or the other. Say what you will about which sin is the most deadly. Lust is undoubtedly the one that spawns the most immature jokes.
