Anthea: How hard could it be? I'm not scared to perform. I don't get stage fright. I mean, I don't even have to imagine the crowd's not there. I already can't see them! I really think I could surprise you. Some say magic is my talent

Dove: Ha! Sweetheart, your talent is literally making people fall asleep!

Anthea: I've got other tricks too

Dove: Just magic won't do, you need showmanship

Anthea: At least I can do real magic

Dove: Ooooooh lookit you making all these comebacks! I like it! Some attitude! A little pizazz! Those are signs of a great Las Pegasus magician. Still, you'd never match up to Dove the Extraordinary!




I think the whole rivalry between these two would come to be due to their different views on how it should be used. Annie thinks it should be used to help others and Dove thinks it should be used for entertainment."
