Our first monthly setting feature is the town weve all come to know and love, Ponyville! However, in the fires of civil war, even this once-idyllic town has become an area of tension and strife. As the New Lunar Republic and Solar Empire began sending troops into various cities across Equestria to claim them as their own, it became clear that Ponyville would be caught in the middle of both factions, despite the peaceful and happy lives of its citizens. However, because it was a place of sentimental value to major players on both sides of the war, it was agreed that Ponyville would instead be a neutral zone, and that no soldiers on active duty would be allowed inside its borders. But the pen is not always mightier than the sword, and even Ponyville cannot remain on the fence forever
