Peridot Gleam was made to be sorta of a tribute to my birthstone, which is the Peridot u3u I really had no idea where to begin with her! But in the end, she came out OK so X'D

Her story is that she was born in the center of the Empire, more of where I believe the higher class lives as they'd live closer to the castle and whatnot. She makes her debut where she sees this rattled mane mare coming into the part with a cart, and as the friendly local she was, she went up and introduced herself. It turns out the mare was actually Pearl when she moved into the inner Empire to start her own business, and she managed to rent a nearby shop and whatnot.

Eventually the two become best friends and help each other until they were separated when King Sombra took over. King Sombra gave the higher class ponies an offer, however… Loyalty for their freedom. These ponies probably never worked their hooves, so they become sponsors and supported the king… but nonetheless still had to wear a collar showing that they agreed to this. If a higher class crystal pony broke their word, they would be sent off to the Crystal Mines with the lower classes. Peridot took the offer… She's usually around the castle and its grounds, sometimes thinking about Pearl and if she's okay, yet she's completely unaware that her best friend is in the castle as the king's personal slave.

Edit: Fixed up the right one a bit w/ moving the eye and adding eye shadow u3u
