So! I needed to do a pattern test for an upcoming commission, and it turned out fairly well so I thought I'd finish it. I haven't made Maud before, so this was a good chance! Her fringe gave me a surprising amount of trouble, and I still feel like it's not quiiiiite right. Not sure why. I think maybe she needs a higher forehead than my regular ponies to pull off those bangs.

Anyway, this is a carry pony/shoulder pony type filly pattern (for those of you wondering why she has no CM). I think I'd need to add a strap or something to make actually carrying them on your shoulder safe, but they'd stick out of a bag or hang over a ledge very adorably. There are a few changes that I'll make in the final version of the pattern — I'm not quite happy with the shape of the front legs, and I think the head needs to be a bit bigger to be properly in proportion. I'll probably have these available to commission for slightly more than fillies. This one is for sale for a slightly reduced price since she's a prototype — send me a note if you're interested!

I'd be happy to hear any thoughts on tweaking the pattern, if you have constructive critiques :)
