This Nightmare Night, seeing as Princess Luna was unable to attend due to too many royal duties, Dusk and Silver got together to create some very interesting costumes! Having accompanied Princess Luna on inter-dimensional visits through the Magic Mirror in the castle, she had learned a little bit about the world of the humans, one of her favorite things she had learned about being the video games they had there. Of course, Equestria had video games but they weren't as visually interesting as the ones found in the human world yet, they still only had arcade games style games. After being able to play the games in the human world Dusk learned about all of the popular characters, including those from the Legend of Zelda series, and that was her idea for their set of costumes. She wanted to be the Hyrule Warriors version of Ganondorf, he was strong, masculine, and dominant, and boy did she take a huge liking to him. Not only that but his design in that game was just top notch, she couldn't not dress up as him. After explaining all she knew about the Legend of Zelda games she had played, Dusk and Silver both agreed that Silver would make an amazing Zelda, preferably the version from Twilight Princess because she found that version to be the most interesting. Dusk really wanted to find a third member of their troupe, to make their 'Triforce' complete. It just so happened that White Knight was visiting the castle to give her annual report to Celestia. Dusk and Silver had seen her around the castle very rarely, Silver seeing her more so since Hammer was in the Royal Guard, so they weren't really familiar with one another. But that didn't stop the overexcited Dusk from grabbing the white Alicorn and taking her to Stiletto to have a costume made for her. This costume would be of Link, the Skyward Sword version. Being a Royal Knight, White was perfect for the Triforce of Courage. White of course was very opposed to this but in time decided to humor the civilians, she needed someone to talk to in Canterlot on her visits anyway so it wouldn't be as boring not knowing anypony. Once their costumes were ready they were out and about in Canterlot to see all of the spooky decorations and even visited a house or two to grab some treats, despite being what most ponies would say they were too old for doing. It was a great night and though she didn't want to admit it, even White Knight had some fun!
