This is a basic layout of what I figured out about male pony heads—3/4, side, and front views.
The Canterlot Royal Guard all have the top shape.
Big mac has the top shape, but with a little extra bulking up and rounding out.
Braeburn has the lower head shape.
Mr. Cake has the lower head shape BUT he as a wicked underbite and a really square jaw.
