Not to spoiler much, but in my HC, Ahuizotl is a hybrid between a cat, and a canine. If you're an aztec myth expertise like me, you guys know who these guys are. Note that in the mythology, Chalchuitlicue are related to serpents. But I thought it would be appropirate to make her into a jackal/canine creature because it makes sense. Tlaloc in the original myth was described as a "jaguar" and a very fugly deity. Despite this, he had not one, but two wives. Chalchuitlicue is the 2nd. Due to spelling difficulty, she goes by her nickname: Matlalcuetli for ease.
