Doodling some of my Fallout Las Pegasus stuff.
In this rendition of Fallout for ponies:
The dragons and ponies went to war, nukes happened and the relatively untouched Zebra Headlands became the birthplace for the NZR. They began to move outward, ridding the place of raiders easily until they Ran across Celestia's Legion. A group of 6 mares serving under a pseudo 'Celestia'. They learned from the images in Canterlot (The ruins) that mares dominated everypony and began to re-institute her "Rule" as they interpreted it from what they found.
These two factions run into eachother and reach a stalemate.
It's basic groundwork, but I'm working on a cannon

The armor consists of a lightweight Kevlar under suit that covers most of the body. A built in face wrap help keep sand out of the muzzle and coupled with goggles, offers great protection from the uncontrolled weather that whip sup sand storms constantly. Large curved ceramic plates, sewn together in scales are strapped around the body to protect it. Steel hoof boots are 'shoed' into place to offer a greater punch for the rear hooves should they come into close combat.

An Aremil 30 cal is the standard issue weapon. Firing a .30x50mm cartridge and spacious inside offer great reliability in the sandy conditions it serves in.

The stockless weapon has a hinged fore-leg strap instead along with the fore-grip loop, it offers better grip for the wielder than anything else in the Marejave.

Though it's a medium duty weapon, as the Legion likes to wear thick armor, a majority of the time, the bullets bounce off.Troops have taken to getting their own supply of Steel Core bullets to combat this.

Patrolling in the Marejave makes you wish for a nuclear winter…
