Flashing a charming grin, Hope reassures her father with a cheerful outlook on life. He seems to buy it at first, but she voices her doubts to Mom often enough for him to take it with a grain of salt. He sees no reason to be overly concerned, though.

Oh no! Today is group project day, but Hope cant find a partner fast enough as the other fillies and colts turn to their tried and trusted friends. Just then, a very loud and fabulously maned pegasus gets her attention and offers to foist one of her seatmates on Hope:

Cocoa Bean, the famously well-read Earth filly with a brown hand-me-down scarf. She seems unaware of the others, completely absorbed in a strange tome.

Kelpie, the reticent and withdrawn Unicorn colt with a raggedy mane. He hides behind his desk well enough but gazes intently at Hope.

Fairweather, the boisterous Pegasus filly with a styled mane and burning green eyes, could make a good group partner herself. At least she seems like a go-getter.

Who should Hope choose for the group project?
