Should space mane, galaxy mane, starry mane, ethereal mane, and ethereal tail be aliased into each other? At the very least, it seems that space mane, galaxy mane, and starry mane basically refer to the same thing, and there are only six images that are tagged ethereal tail and not ethereal mane—and all but one of those actually have ethereal manes (and in the exception, you simply can't see the mane).

Some more aliases:

dumbbellsdumbbell (object)
melon mintcharacter:melon mint
orange sherbettecharacter:orange sherbette
frosty orangecharacter:frosty orange
cold forecastcharacter:cold forecast
crystal lullabycharacter:crystal lullaby
diwata ainocharacter:diwata aino

It seems that ruby red is also an alias of Diwata Aino, so it should probably be aliased to the last tag as well.

ginger owlseyecharacter:ginger owlseye

Where applicable I created the target tag and put it into the proper category already.

More character aliases:

pickle barrelcharacter:pickle barrel
barley barrelcharacter:barley barrel

Additionally, I changed barrel twins to imply character:pickle barrel and character:barley barrel, as well as barleybetes (character:barley barrel) and picklebetes (character:pickle barrel)

(And fufflebetes to imply character:kerfuffle, but that was a freebie)

Should the "x-betes" and "dia-x" tags also imply "cute" along with the relevant character? Seems like it.

Should species:lamia imply snake? A large proportion of lamia images (about 800) aren't tagged with snake, but a reasonable number (about 300) are, and after all lamias are snake-like creatures.

An additional question is what should be done with snake pony? In some cases such as this it seems to be basically equivalent to lamia, but in other cases like this it is just a pony-ish snake. In either case it seems a bit redundant, but I'm not clear what implications or aliases it ought to have.

Related to that, I edited several lamia and snake-related tags with implications. Most of these were "x-lamia" tags indicating that character x was a lamia, to which I added the implication that the character in question was in the image and that there was a character of species:lamia. I was somewhat unsure how to handle the tag fluttersnake, which was approximately evenly divided between images of her as a snake and her as a lamia, so I only added that it implied fluttershy.

What we should probably have is "species:lamia" for the very specific definition of it, and "species:snake pony" for the catch-all term. The first one could imply the second one, but I'm not educated enough on these and I kinda don't want to be, so I trust others' judgements.
I don't think either should imply snake because then "snake" means a literal snake, the animal as we know it, is in the picture, same way you would use the tag dog or cat or dragon.
