Here's the next installment in me and my bf's next gen. The TwiShimmer family! Why Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer? Well I don't like the infamous FlashLight ship, I can't think of any other stallion that would fit Twilight that I like and my bf find TwiShimmer to be super cute and sexy, and so do I. I think Twilight and Sunset have a nice dynamic.

Twilight and Sunset are married and has a young colt called Light. Light is not their biological child, he's adopted. I think the magical way that makes two mares able to reproduce with each other to be rather silly. I know it's in a world filled with magic so everything is basically possible, but I think adoption makes more sense for a couple of the same sex. Plus, it gives a parentless child a home and parents. Every child deserves that.

Backstory time: After the events of Rainbow Rocks, Twilight and Sunset continued having their chats through the journal on a regular basis. They'd talk about events in their worlds, their friends, what they've been up to and the like, and much more. Eventually, sending messages through the journal didn't seem like enough for the two, so they eventually started to go back and forth to each other's worlds to spend time with one another. After years of this going on, the two announced that they would get married, much to the surprise of well…every person and pony, but none could deny their happiness.

Description:

*Light is a young unicorn who is talented when it comes to magic. He was discovered by Sunset when she saw that he was stealing food in the slums of Canterlot when he was about five years of age. It was then that she learned that he had been on his own ever since his mother passed away the year before. Seeing herself in the colt, Sunset brought him to meet Twilight, where the two mares decided to adopt him to give him a home, and a family. Though he had humble beginnings, being the adopted son of the Princess of Friendship and another one of Celestia's pupils, in addition to having talent in magic quickly led to him getting a bit of a swelled head. He's a bit of a braggart, and loves to show off his magical prowess whenever possible. That being said, he is still eternally grateful, and cares deeply for his two mothers, and would do anything for them. (He's a momma's boy X 1,000)
Fun fact: He keeps a red coat with him that his biological mother would always wear. Also, to this day he has no idea who his father is, yet he doesn't find himself caring too much about it.
