Here lies the opening to a small project known as "Burnt Buns".

I don't pretend to be a good artist, but with the encouragement of friends and a head that is harder than stone, I decided to create a tutorial to help others draw ponies in a style similar to that used by the ever popular My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

I decided to leave it in its rawest format, that being the sketch from the pad, in order to appear as non-intimidating to new artists as possible.

It may or may not be good, but if it gets one person, young or old, male or female, to pick up the pencil, then Bunset Shimmer, Burnt Umber and I will have succeeded in our objective.
