Parcly Taxel: I woke up early to catch a train to nearby Gimpo, from where I could simply fly over to Jeju in two hours. One peculiarity of the island is its many Chinese visitors, this owing to a decree by the Dragon Emperor that the island would always be open for his subjects.
Spindle: Jeju is a volcanic island with many surrounding hills and hot springs, all of which are on the map. I asked Parcly where we were staying and all I got was "the best stables in the world, as rated by ponies". This was a lodge in southern Jeju; after some wandering and asking the locals in pictograms she figured out its location.
Parcly: Amidst wintry air and volcanic rock decorations I adjusted myself to life on the ground (as opposed to the intensely magical colts who rocked at concerts or gaming tournaments). Lunch was black beans and tofu atop rice — satisfying like Flutterbat to apples. As for dinner, I was so caught up in the market that I didn't have time for it, but I did obtain breakfast for the next day.
