I really like Disastral's hagwarder OCs, so on a rainy day I decided to make a little tribute. I haven't got a name for her or anything like that, but I do have a rather stupid head-howitzer that I occasionally think through…

Hagwarders are simple plush toys for foals that originated shortly after the banishment of Nightmare Moon in 996AD. These lovable little toys were meant to be protectors of foals in their dreams, keeping them safe from nightmares. They were usually made by hand by the mothers of said foals, and as such each one was unique.

By the time of the industrial revolution, Hagwarders were being produced en mass. When Nightmare Moon made her return in 2010 (again, my head-howitzer) it was safe to say that the little toys were seen as just that; little toys. Although the mass produced Hagwarder toys come in many shapes and sizes, and come with various accessory items, they are not seen as true Hagwarders by collectors across Equestria.

Though they are inanimate, and now superfluous thanks to Princess Luna, many foals and even some adults swear that the stuffed warriors protected them in their sleep. Some have even claimed that Hagwarders could move, though these claims have never been proven.
