So okay, I've decided to do something of a character study / comparison thing between my two OCs: Sword Dancer and Pretzel

So the thing I've found with these two is that they are complete opposites, from their physic and coat colours to their interests and personality, but I've always thought of them as besties. For starters, Pretzel is small and chubby, with a thick, fluffy coat. Sword Dancer, on the other hand, is tall, muscular and short furred. She's also quite pointy when drawn, whereas Pretzel is mostly rounded. Even their colours are opposites on the colour wheel, dark blue is a complementary colour to orange, along with the near black and white of their manes and tails.

They do, however, have a few similarities, which is probably why they are friends. These include their patiences and loyalty, they both jobs that serve the people, but in very different ways. Dancer is a soldier, who will fight for her country, Pretzel is a baker, likely relied on by a village (See the episode: Magical Mystery Cure).

They have probably also been raised by similar standards, both being only children, but neither were spoilt. Dancer was probably taught not to rely on her magic as a filly, thus becoming strong physically, but having few magical spells. Pretzel was probably more likely to have been spoilt, due to losing a parent very young, but instead was taught to value what he has.

I imagine that they met in Pretzel's bakery, and started talking about god knows what. She was probably his only customer that morning on a very slow day.

Okay I'm done rambling now
