Artist's Note:

The picture was supposed to be ready for Christmas, some events however lead to it not being ready on time. I'm not entirely happy with how it turned out as a whole piece, but at least I think I've done a decent job on some of the individual parts. I've already put so much time into this, and went over some things multiple times, because stuff I was working on in the beginning just couldn't keep up with the quality standard I set later on anymore. There are still major and minor things wrong with it, but I simply don't want to delay this even further, especially because it has already become hard to get motivated to work on it in the later stages. After all I've tried a lot of things for the very first time with this piece and should probably not be too harsh with myself, but as many artists will know it's just a little soul shattering to realize that what you drew does not represent the vision you had like you wanted it to. Anyways, working on this has helped me learn a few more things, which helps me improve as an artist — at least I hope so.

Feel free to let me know what you like and dislike about this piece. I have the feeling that for most cases I will already know the answer, but don't let that stop you from telling me anyways. Hope you enjoy.
