I have heard the reason for her cutie mark is based on "hedgehog dilemma" in which she avoids others in fear of hurting them, but to me that just sounds too sad. :( So I'd like to put a lighter spin on it. I'd like to think she got her cutie mark by saving a hedge hog from a falling tree, in which she selflessly threw herself in front of. Then opening her eyes and realizing how strong she actually is. She turns to see a beast thrashing about the forest looking for its next meal which now happens to be pink pony. Unfortunately for the beast this filly has other plans….painful plans.
