Director,
Morale in the facility is an all time low. Personnel are working around the clock to deal with this catastrophe. They're tired, they're anxious, and, worst of all, they're scared. By Celestia, I mean, I'm scared. If a subject had managed to escape their chamber, all our lives would have been in danger. With all due respect, Director, this Project has us playing with matches in a house filled with dynamite, and for what? I don't know what Princess [REDACTED] had in mind when she started this whole thing but, as far as I can tell, we gain nothing by continuing this ridiculous charade. Now, I know we've had our disagreements in the past but, as you can plainly see, the circumstances have changed. I have warned you time and time again of the risk of continuing the Project. It's clear that action must be taken before we all pay the price. I have prepared two alternative plans that could solve all of our problems and arranged them for your consideration.
Proposed Plan #1: End Project: Eternal Peace and keep Subjects 001-005 in stasis. There is simply no discernible reason to continue with these cycles. The risk is far too great and no good can come from its continuation.
Proposed Plan #2: Eliminate Subject 003. Because I knew you would never accept plan 1, I thought I'd give this one another go. Ever since incident 13, I've been suggesting this and every time you've ignored it. Now, I'm afraid that there is no option but to remove her from the equation. No other subject has given us a single issue but 003 has deviated from standard events in 18 separate cycles, with intensity rising each time. In this, the 19th deviation, total system failure was inevitable had we not pulled the plug on the simulation, and I know I needn't remind you of the danger of her potential escape. I tell you, as long as she remains, it is but a matter of time before we all perish. So this time, if you refuse to take action, I'll deal with her myself. You think I care about this position when my neck is on the line? Don't let it come to that. However tough it may be to make this call, you must make it.
I eagerly await your response. Our lives may very well rest in your hooves.
-Superintendent [REDACTED]
