"Gather 'round and look closely!"
Trixie smiled to herself at the sudden, loud and familiar voice interrupting her nightly walk. She stopped her trot and looked around her to try and spot her friend. Nothing…
"Nothing in your hooves!" She let out a giggle and looked down at the rush of wind that blew past her hooves and played along by lifting up a hoof to her face and observing it in mock curiosity. Nothing.
"Nothing up your sleeves!” She felt her cape fluttering around her and she took a moment to lift each end of her cape to glance under the fabric. Nothing, yet again…
Finally, with a smirk, she used her magic to tip her hat and with a large gust of wind and magic and just a bit of fireworks suddenly Discord sprung out like a mad coil, stretched out and curled around her, her hat in his paw and his tail gently caressing her chin.
"Ta-da! Hello darling!"
Trixie raised an eyebrow and met his gaze with a smile.
"Making an entrance I see. Trixie's amused…"
He chuckled, "I would hope so, that hat of yours is terribly uncomfortable." He playfully flicked her cheek and she laughed.
"You know, if you wanted to join Trixie on her stroll, all you had to do was ask."
"Well, I figured you'd appreciate the showmanship." Discord slid down beside her and slipped the hat on his head, giving her what, to her keen eye, looked like a very loving smile.
"I do, I really do…"

After Trixie and Discord become friends (and Discord stops being a nervous twitterpated dork who disguises himself as a pony just to talk to her) their dynamic is flirtatious and playful and they feel so connected and happy. Bless. <3
