What would've happened if Discord had decided to fiddle a bit more with the dimensions before being turned to stone the first time? My own headcannon says that Twi's Mom or Dad had befriended a Ninetails, who happens to like being read to by a young Twilight. Twilight just likes the cuddles and non judgement.
I might end up doing a bunch of these, not sure. The idea won't much leave me alone.
