Twilight woke up from another night of deep sleep, plagued by horrid dreams. She rubbed her tired eyes, wary
of all the equipment she remains hooked up to. Today was her last blood transfusion she needed, though
her wounds, now stitched up, were slow to heal. Probably from the lack of eating or anything else, which
is going to make today a bit difficult. The nurse came in and helped frail Twilight out of her bed and into a wheelchair
and wheeled her to the physical rehabilitation ward for some morning walking sessions to get her muscles back.
Twilight struggled to keep herself supported with her weak arms, not to mention her legs. She inched
forward, forcing her legs forward and feet down on the treadmill. It was moving very slowly but it
felt like a marathon. Twilight could only move her legs forward when necessary. The hospital gown she
was in exposed her back and rear end to the rest of the hospital, being quite a humiliating experience.
"Hey Twilight! You're up and about!" Sunset came into the ward with a bag of Twilight's
favorite treats and her glasses. Twilight darted her head to see her crush, emanating a
beautiful radiance that gave her a little bit more strength to keep going on the treadmill.
"Sunset.. you're here early.." Twilight's exhausted voice didn't faze either of the girls.
"Yeah, it's Saturday. Must've forgotten the days of the week, that's uncommon for you. But I don't
blame you, what you've been through… But hey, I brought you some treats. And of course…" Sunset
reached for Twilight's glasses, wiping them clean. Sunset shut off the treadmill for a moment to put
Twilight's glasses on Twilight's face. Twilight blushed heavily, having Sunset the first clear thing she
is able to see in weeks. She even managed to smile slightly, even though it hurt slightly because of the
cuts in her neck. Sunset sat down on the floor near Twilight, looking through the items she got for her.
