Bit of a story behind this. It shows my OC Geist, the Griffon King, from back in the days before the Lunar Fall. I originally wrote the story with him for NaNoWriMo last November. I continued working on polishing it, then as a bit of motivation I commissioned this piece from the excellent and talented TehJadeh several months ago. Since then my story went through a cocoon, and came out as no longer fanfic. I held on to this until after I revealed the relevant chapters, but now that it's changed so completely I decided to share.
If you look close, you can see Canterlot in the background of his dark side.
