I've been toying around with the idea of tossing more in-process sketches up on my "Scrap" gallery. There's always been something appealing to me about the rough and fluid nature of "pencil" work (be it actual pencil or the digital equivalent). No matter how good the artist is, drawings always tend to lose a little of their character during the inking process, though hopefully what they end up gaining is worth the trade. What do you folks think? Do you like seeing the rough, unpolished soul of a piece of art or do you prefer not knowing what goes on behind the doors of the sausage factory?
