Happy Twilight Day everyone! I couldn't let it pass without celebrating it in some small way, so I whipped up an image of Unicorn Twilight, back in her big crown thingie days. Good times. I miss our snarky non-princess unicorn, myself. I wouldn't say that I'm against the fact that she has become a princess, but I do confess that my favorite version of Twilight lived in a tree and got very little respect from the world around her. We still get to see the disgruntled, disrespected Twilight when Discord chooses to mess with her of course, and every now and then a bit of indignant attitude sneaks back into Tara Strong's line deliveries, but it's easy to forget how often she was grumpy and sarcastic in that first season of the show especially.

In any event, I love all forms of our bookish pony, and I'm glad I get to keep seeing her adventures!
