"Wanted to try and draw old ponies and ended up drawing the whole herd of grandkids too. It got kinda cramped sine the paper was so small but whatever (drew it on A5 size).

All of these kids love their grandparents. Even Inkwell has a special bond with his grandma Twilight Velvet and is in a way even closer to her than his mom.
Pearl (Nacre Shell) got her necklace and headwear from her granny as the two of them has a shared love for pearl jewelry.

Riposte said something inconsiderate/stupid, as usual, and now that Mom and Dad isn't nearby Flurry is free to just smack him in the back of the head.

I haven't thought out that much more, I just wanted to make a cute little groupshot. It's been a while since I drew something on paper, it feels good to get into the rythm again.

Their sizes are a bit all over the place (aka not very accurate) but im just gonna blame the paper size for that. "
