I carved a head of Pinkie Pie out of soapstone (a soft rock and very pleasant material to work with, though it creates a lot of dust). This collage shows several stages of development from the raw stone at the top to the completed head at the bottom. Later on I made a mold of it so I could cast a tin version of it too.
