This is Melanie, my sicksona. She'll basically be used for vent art. But she's still my babu.

Melanie received her cutie mark when she was ten. For her, her cutie mark symbolises her inner determination to not let her lack of vision get in the way of her love of music and singing. She hates singing in public and in front of ponies she doesn't know, but will sing with Marigold on occasion.


Facts :

Ears are always usually folded down
— Shyness problems. Melanie has stage fright and hates attention from ponies she doesn't know. What makes matters even worse is that she can't see if people are watching her or not, which adds to her self consciousness.

Blind
— Went blind at the age of seven.

Haemolcria
— A disease that causes one to cry blood instead of normal tears.

Laugh Attacks
— Laughs like a normal pony would but when she laughs too much she sometimes breaks out in hysterics and immediately starts crying and blubbering after a couple of minutes.

Physically Weak
— Since she is blind she isn't able to keep up her physical strength

Marigold
— Her older brother Marigold is the only one she finds any closeness to.
