A little Idea I came up with one of the main characters of @murkynumberseven ‘s story, “Murky Number Seven. Protege (I know it should have a different ‘e’ :p ) is one of my favorite characters from the story, reminding me closely of my dear friend, Sal Ghatorr. I wanted to make him into a playing card figure, as I really love that aesthethic and wanted to try it for a very long time, especially that with Protege, I could play on the duality of his nature.

Now, I am an artist who pays attention to symbols and what they carry. So I made research. When I started reading about the figures and their associated colors, the Jack of Clubs came up and I instantly knew it was his card. I’ll post and cite my source below ^_-.

"One bright idea after another, the Jack of Clubs is one truly creative individual. Problem solving comes naturally to them as they enjoy the mental gymnastics of solution finding. Blessed with powerful reasoning skills and mental agility, this Jack loves learning something new and inspiring others with that knowledge.

With progressive ideas, creativity and mental acuity, these people can be clever using their mental prowess to manifest that on which they place their attention. Due to their innate ability to create and focus, they can attain affluence and wealth. As a royal Court Card, they can be intolerant of the limitations of others. Supported by the King of Clubs in Jupiter, they are often desirous of a leadership position, demanding respect for their ideas and expecting the freedom in which to express them. If they truly step into their kingly responsibilities, they will acquire the leadership position they deserve. Rarely hesitating to defend their ideas and ideals, the Jack of Clubs person will definitely stand their ground in confrontations."

At first I tried to add his magic field into the picture, but as it unfolded, I opted for the simpler, playing-card style with him. I think it suits it this way, not distracting the viewer from his character.
