Hazy and Sirius Veil were walking down the hall of Princess Twilight's castle, side by side. Hazy was bored now. "Vei, where are we going?" He asked.

"To meet our cousins, of course." He replied, smiling as they turned a corner. Hazy frowned."We have more cousins?" He questioned, looking confused. Then after thinking about it, he scowled as he grumbled. "Please tell me they're colts. I'd hate to have any more filly cousins."

Sirius Veil turned his eye to his new little brother and smirked. "…My, you have taken to them quite quickly, brother dearest." He teased, watching the colt freeze. "We thought you didn't 'need no family'?" Darn it, he always brought up Hazy's bad speech.

"S-shut up!" He cried, pouting as he stomped past his 'brother'. "I know what I said… I just… Kind of like them, is all."Sirius Veil smiled, patting Hazy on the head, though the colt fought him on this.

"Well, we are quite glad to hear that. And you will be happy to learn that this cousin is not a filly." Hazy immediately turned to Sirius Veil, his eyes glowing with excitement.

"Awesome, a colt!" He cheered, hopping in circles around Sirius Veil. "Finally, someone I can spar with."

"We beg that you refrain from such actions." Sirius Veil warned. "You might… will get hurt."Hazy rolled his eyes.

"Pft, I can handle anything you rich ponies can throw at-"

"Tiny pony!!" Somepony shouted as the door beside them burst open.

Hazy was tackled by a large creature before he could even open the door. The creature stared down at him with a big smile and blue tongue. Razor sharp teeth greeted him as the creature smiled at him.

"V, who is this tiny little thing?" Fang asked, holding Hazy close to his chest as the foal struggled to escape.

"Hazy Sky, our new little brother." Sirius Veil replied, sitting some distance away from the hybrid and his brother.

"Oh? So he is family then? Yay!" Fang cried, snuggling Hazy close as the foal reached out to Sirius Veil.

"Vei? Vei, who is this and what is he?!" He demanded, fighting off the affection he felt pouring from the mysterious creature.

"That's fang." He replied, calming walking around them. "He's uncle Spikes son and he was really looking forward to meeting you."

This is the first meeting between Hazy Sky and Fang. Fang is super affectionate toward others and especially toward family. He loves them and just adores tiny ponies (which are most other pony's his age). Hazy isn't used to such affection, so he freaks out. That and the fact that the one holding him is a changeling/dragon hybrid.

Later on, Hazy and Fang will have a lot calmer of a relationship and will spar with one another, though Fang always holds back.

As for why Sirius Veil's mane looks like that, its because before this, he and Hazy were hanging out with his younger cousin, Desert Moon and she insisted on braiding Sirius Veil's mane. He's decided to keep it like that cause he knows Desert Moon is still watching him. She is always watching
