Hey, look! It's a thing that does things!
Vin's table is the first victim of me attempting actual scene layouts before sketching backgrounds in for an environment. I'll probably end up posting the (relatively simple) layout and lighting test up on the Patreon blog in the near future, but for the time being I'll just say that's it's actually super helpful to have a simple diagram of where junk is relative to everyone else.
That all said, the lighting under the table is a bit peculiar, so I wound up taking over that aspect of the duties involved in production on this one. Kaz is improving at this bit all the time, though, so I don't imagine I'll be needing to step in all that routinely on the matter.
Especially if I, uh, actually not light sources in all the scene planning, instead of leaving her to just sort of guess like I usually do. Oops~
Working collaboratively is a learning experience for everyone involved. A good one, mind. I'd recommend it, honestly, at least once in a while. Seems like a useful skill to develop.
