"This is a gift piece I wanted to make as a thanks to NCMares whose own art is outstandingly beautiful.
Whether it be his Never Be Royals pillow fighting princesses, which is what this piece is based on, giant
Applejack, or just general works. I can't help but be amazed at the lighting and detail NC can apply and if
anyone even remotely enjoys what I try to manage, they should definitely give his works a look.

I used to doodle a lot as a kid, but never felt I was any good or that I was/could get any better. So I
just quit drawing altogether. That is, until I started watching MLP and seeing all the art the fandom was
producing. It wasn't until the third EQD ATG that I put pen to paper again and just kept at it. When I
found NCMares' stream is when I started to study what he was doing and striving to improve in my own work.

So I just wanna say thanks for all the pointers and tips NC. MLP may have gotten me to take up drawing again,
but your works have inspired me to keep improving even though it may be a little at a time."
