•Spike as Ali: Monte Cristo's mute Nubian slave — most weird choice, since you may say that Big Mac would fit this role more, since he's not much of a talker. While I was thinking about this character's role I didn't count that tiny point since Ali has a bit more than only not talking character. I can't imagine such strong and big stallion as Big Mac as a slave; Big Mac is unstoppable and strong and he could easily get rid of those who made a slave from him and live a normal life, and Spike, for me, fits into that role pretty well since he's helping everyone from the mane six with so much loyalty and devotion.. Same with Ali — he listens to every single word of Monte Cristo and doing what he says without complaining. I think Spike fits into the role of Ali very well.

•Coco Pommel as Hermine Danglars — the idea of using Coco Pommel as Hermine Danglars came from Pony-from-Everfree → fav.me/d9nooe0, since Coco Pommel knows Applejack from the series and she is Rarity's really close friend.

•Gilda as Luigi Vampa — I already used Gilda as Luisa Vampa from the musical, and the role of Luigi Vampa still fits her very well, so she/he just got a desgn upgrade. Nothing new. Luisa Vampa and Luigi Vampa are pretty much the same character, the difference is just one is a woman, second is a man.
